OGC is the home of location technology, innovation and collaboration. OGC partnered with Studio 10 to visually redefine their brand and create a powerful marketing anthem.

First and foremost, a consortium.
The Open Geospatial Consortium is first and foremost a consortium. We wanted the new OGC identity to reflect the idea of OGC's members coming together to create the community that is OGC.
Not an acronym, but a mark.
We wanted to create a modern symbol that reads OGC, while representing both OGC’s future and the members that comprise it.
A global community of industry giants.
OGC has hundreds of members across the globe, and the new re-brand needed to reflect the quality of OGC's global partners; such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon and hundreds more.
Better blue. Better type.
We modernized the OGC pallet and typeface with a brighter and more saturated pallet of colors and with the flexible and unique san-serif Mont, leaving behind the dated feel of the competitive landscape. Instead, we look up and forward, to an optimistic future as clear and refreshing as the open sky.
